Keller Center for Research

Thank you for your interest in the Keller Center for Research Graduate Student Employee position. Please follow the steps below to be considered for our GSE position for spring 2023.

Step 1: Review Job Description

The Graduate Student Employee (GSE) position is a writing-intensive graduate student position for the Keller Center Research Report (KCRR). GSE must read and comprehend academic research papers on a variety of topics (sales, marketing, psychology, consumer behavior, social media, etc.), and ghostwrite two to three-page summary articles of research and findings, noting implications for a real estate audience. Additionally, GSE will read recent best-selling books and write Insider articles, summarizing key points of book and making application to real estate. Both ghostwrites and Insiders will be edited and published in the KCRR. Other projects related to the production of the Keller Center Research Report may be assigned, as needed. 

Real estate experience and knowledge is not a requirement, but a writing sample may be required following application. Work hours will be determined prior to start date based on class schedule.

The individual selected for this position must:

  • Hold a Bachelor Degree or higher
  • Be enrolled (or admitted) in a Baylor graduate program
  • Demonstrate writing and editing skills required for the position
  • Be able to meet publication deadlines
  • Welcome feedback and coaching
  • Follow all University policies
  • Maintain regular attendance
