Randall Dodd is a Senior Financial Sector Expert in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the International Monetary Fund. He founded and served as director of the Financial Policy Forum in Washington, D.C. Before that he was at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission as an economist and special advisor to the Commission, and before that he served the U.S. Congress as a senior economist for the Joint Economic Committee and the Democratic Study Group, and he was the Legislative Director for Congressman Joe Kennedy. He also has taught economics, finance and political philosophy at American, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, Rutgers, and Syracuse universities and the University of Maryland. He holds a PhD in economics from Columbia University.
