Experiential and Active Learning

Baylor’s Executive MBA program values experiential learning and provides students with a customized and innovative curriculum that integrates a variety of learning experiences. We firmly believe that your Executive MBA should be an experience that goes well-beyond the classroom so we are take our students on the road for active learning.

Active Learning in Washington D.C.

Baylor Executive MBA and Executive MBA Healthcare students travel to Washington D.C. to learn first-hand how public policy and international issues impact business.  Students spend a week in Washington D.C. where they learn first-hand how policy decisions impact business.

Active Learning around the World

A student-selected 10-day international trip caps off the program, exposing students to the challenges inherent in conducting business on a global scale. Students experience first-hand countries at different stages in economic development, apply classroom knowledge to real world issues, and immerse themselves in the culture and business policies of a foreign country.

Imagine visiting with Takealot the Amazon of South Africa or Jio in India – working to disrupt digital services and technology throughout India. Each year we look at the world and we pull together city pairs and we allow our students to select from these. Learning is relevant, timely, and absolutely fascinating.
