Ms. Cassidy Parshall of Colleyville, Texas, is a senior at Baylor University. She is pursuing a BBA in Business Fellows and finance with a minor in mathematics. She plans to attend medical school upon graduation.
Ms. Parshall serves as president of Baylor’s chapter of the Global Surgery Student Alliance, a national organization committed to educating, inspiring, and uniting students through engagement and mentorship in global surgery, and as co-president of Medical Mentors, a group of upper-level students that provides mentorship, resources, and support to the prehealth student community. In addition, she is a head teaching assistant for Foundations in Medicine, a course that all pre-medical students take during their first year at Baylor. Ms. Parshall also is a member of the Epsilon Epsilon chapter of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
Ms. Parshall knew Baylor was home when she came to campus and saw Baylor’s commitment to academic excellence and Christian values. She attends Highland Baptist Church in Waco, Texas.
