Mr. William Cassara of Keller, Texas, is a senior at Baylor University. He is pursuing a BBA in finance in the Hankamer School of Business and plans to enter the financial industry upon graduation.
An Eagle Scout, Mr. Cassara serves as chief financial officer of Zeta Zigga Zamma (ZZZ), a non-profit organization in Waco. During his time at Baylor, he also has been involved with Phi Beta Lambda – Future Business Leaders of America, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and the Baylor Resident Community Council.
Mr. Cassara’s leadership experience at Baylor began in the 2015-16 academic year when he served as president of the Martin Residence Hall Leadership Team. Mr. Cassara became a community leader during the 2016-17 academic year, serving the students in one of Baylor’s residential communities by exemplifying and implementing the values and policies of Campus Living and Learning. In addition to fostering a sense of community and mentoring residents, he facilitated learning through efforts that integrated aspects of diversity, faith development, academics, and relationships.
Mr. Cassara grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and he is a first-generation Baylor Bear. He chose to attend Baylor because of the University’s unambiguously Christian conviction, along with the proven track record of academic excellence and preparation of students for worldwide leadership. His parents are Scott and Nancy Cassara, and he has one younger brother, Ryan.
