Andrea Dixon

Dr. Andrea L. Dixon leads Baylor’s Center for Professional Selling (CfPS). Since 2009, she raised CfPS’s profile, commemorating its 25th anniversary, hosting an international symposium and editing the 30th anniversary issue of the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management (JPSSM).

Dr. Dixon’s work has appeared in such journals as Harvard Business Review, Journal of Marketing, and Organizational Science and in books including Strategic Sales Leadership, Systems for Success, and The Oxford Handbook of Sales Management and Sales Strategy. Dr. Dixon serves as the regional editor for the European Journal of Marketing and on the editorial review boards for several academic journals, including the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management.

She has received awards for teaching from the American Marketing Association, Hankamer School of Business, and the International Academy of Marketing Science. She is a member of Duke University’s Global Learning Resource Network for Executive Education and has chaired a number of conferences — AMA (2007); Global Sales Science Institute (2012, 2017); and 3M Frontline
(2012, 2016) — in addition to serving as a board member of AMA Academic Council; Global Sales Science Institute; University Sales Center Alliance; and AMA Sales SIG (president), National Conference on Sales Management. She is currently president-elect of the University Sales Center Alliance.

She is married to Doug, chief executive officer of Texas Life, and their twins/spouse are Baylor alumni: Taylor (2014) and Alex (2014) with wife, Kimberly Parr Dixon (2016).
