Dr. Bryan W. Brooks, assistant professor of environmental studies, and Jacob Stanley, Baylor graduate student, had a co-authored article titled "Laboratory and Field Responses to Cadmium in Effluent-dominated Stream Mesocosms" published in Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (Vol. 23, No. 4, pp. 1057-1064, 2004). There are multiple co-authors.

Dr. William V. Davis, professor of English and Writer-in-Residence, had a poem titled "The Obituary Writer" published in Southwest Review (Vol. 88, No. 2-3, pg. 334, 2003). He had an article titled "'Our Gravestones Blowing...Backward Through Time to Find Us': W.S. Merwin's 'For the Grave of Posterity'" published in Notes on Contemporary Literature (Vol. 34, No. 1, pp. 11-12, 2004).

Dr. Jeannette M. Denton, assistant professor of English, had an article titled "An Historical Linguistic Description of Sir Thomas Malory's Dialect" published in Arthuriana (Vol. 13, No. 4, pp. 14-17, winter 2003). She had an article titled "Using Man-on-the-Street Interviews to Expose Language Learners to Authentic Discourse" published in Language Learning Journal (summer 2004).

Dr. Maurice A. Hunt, chair and research professor of English, had a book titled Shakespeare's Religious Allusiveness: Its Play and Tolerance published by Ashgate Publishing. He had an essay titled "Cobbling Souls in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar" published in Cahiers Élisabéthains (Vol. 64, autumn 2003). He had an article titled "Visionary Christianity in Shakespeare's Late Romances" published in CLA Journal (Vol. 47, pp. 212-230, 2003). He had an article titled "Taking the Eucharist Both Ways in Hamlet" published in Cithara (Vol. 43, No. 1, May 2004).

Dr. Andy Pittman, associate professor of health, human performance and recreation, had a co-authored article titled "Best Case Scenario: The Development of a Teaching Tool for Sport Law" published in Journal of Legal Aspects of Sport (winter 2004). Co-authors are Dr. Sarah Young, Indiana University, and Dr. J.O. Spengler, University of Florida. He had an article titled "When T-shirts, Cannons and Untamed Mascots Go Wild: Where Do You Legally Stand?" published in Facility Manager (February/March 2004).

Dr. Sheila Graham Smith, director of the Office of Access and Learning Accommodation, and Sereta Lafayette, advisor in the Office of Access and Learning Accommodation, had a co-authored article titled "Quality Disability Support for Promoting Belonging and academic Success Within the College Community" published in College Student Journal (March 2004).

Dr. W. Dennis Tucker, assistant professor of Christian scriptures at Truett Seminary, had an article titled "A Polysemiotic Approach to the Poor in the Psalms" accepted for publication in an upcoming issue of Perspectives in Religious Studies. He had an article titled "Democratization and the Language of the Poor in Psalms 2-89" published in Horizons in Biblical Theology (Vol. 26, pp. 42-59, 2003).
