Waco's annual Fourth on the Brazos celebration, featuring fireworks, food and music again takes center stage on the Baylor campus on Monday, July 4. Touchdown Alley, just outside McLane Stadium, will host a music, including headlining Motown legends The Commodores, food trucks and family fun activities leading into the fireworks display.

Fourth on the Brazos is a free event that always enjoys large crowds, so plan ahead to make the most of your evening. Official transportation options and parking lots across campus will available; learn more below and from the City of Waco's Fourth on the Brazos website.

SCHEDULE

6 p.m. – Gates Open
6:30 p.m. – DJ Magnum
7:30 p.m. – The Commodores
9:10 p.m. – Waco Community Band
9:15 p.m. – H-E-B Fireworks Over the Brazos

PARKING
– Arrive Early : This year the gates open at 6 and fireworks begin around 9:15. Avoid the annual mad dash just before the fireworks by leaving a little early.
– Be aware of I-35 construction: Due to construction closures, we expect a back up on I-35. We recommend you come to the event via La Salle Ave or MLK.
– Parking Options : If you arrive early, there should be plenty of parking in Lots 2 and 3 at McLane Stadium (Lot 1 is reserved.) Parking options also include the Ferrell Center, Texas Rangers Hall of Fame, East Campus Parking Garage and the Dutton Street Parking Garage (accessed from University Parks).
– Handicap Parking : Vehicles with valid tags can utilize Lot 4 at McLane Stadium.
