Clinical Laboratory Science

The Clinical Laboratory Science major is a unique program in which students complete their first three years of coursework at the Baylor University campus, and then their fourth year is spent in a 12-16 month clinical training program at one of our affiliated institutions. Currently, our affiliated institutions are Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas; Baylor Scott & White Hospital, in Temple, Texas; and Tartleton State University in Fort Worth, Texas. Upon successful completion of this course of study, the degree of Bachelor of Science with a major in Clinical Laboratory Science will be conferred. Additionally, students will qualify for the examination and certification by the Board of Certification of the American Society of Clinical Pathology. Dr. Marcie Moenhke is the director of the Clinical Laboratory Science Major. For a printable degree plan, click here.
