Dr. Davis is an assistant professor in the educational psychology department and program director of the Applied Behavior Analysis program in the School of Education at Baylor University. She is the Director of the Baylor Clinic for Assessment, Research, and Education (Baylor CARE) at the Baylor Center for Developmental Disabilities, supervising approximately 40 students preparing to become BCBAs.
Dr. Davis received a Bachelor of Science degree in special education from Baylor in 2002. She went on to obtain a Master of Science in educational psychology from Baylor in 2004 and earned her Ph.D. in special education with specialization in autism and developmental disabilities from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral Level (BCBA-D).
Dr. Davis has worked as a special education teacher for a private school specifically for children with disabilities. She is a self-employed behavior analyst and has contracted with several school districts and other service providers that provide ABA services.
Dr. Davis has published over 30 journal articles on the treatment of children with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities, specializing in problem behavior and communication intervention.
