Neighborhood Program

Baylor & Beyond seeks to integrate living and learning by surrounding you with fellow residents that share your interests, so you can learn with and from each other. In these neighborhoods, you will work closely with faculty/staff that will guide the group in meaningful events in order to pursue a deeper understanding of the neighborhood theme. Each student will have the opportunity to live in an area of the hall dedicated to a specific neighborhood theme.

Neighborhood Night– Students attend neighborhood night once a month in order to meet with other students interested in their theme. These neighborhood nights include activities and conversations pertaining to each neighborhood.

Neighborhood Leaders – Each of our hall neighborhoods has a student leader who serves as a connection between the neighborhood and the faculty representative. The leaders send out weekly emails to their group to inform about relevant events and activities, meets monthly with faculty leaders, and plans engaging experiences for the neighborhood. The neighborhood leaders also meet with each other regularly for mentorship, planning, and vision casting.
