Naloxone Training

Our Mission

To decrease the adverse impact of opioids on members of the Baylor family, with an immediate emphasis on minimizing overdose fatalities through education and prevention training and on providing easier access to opioid overdose medications such as Naloxone.


Upcoming Naloxone Trainings

As a part of our mission and our desire to be a part of the community, we are offering trainings throughout the semester that day which are open to everyone - Baylor faculty, staff, students, and Waco community members. We host both open trainings and are willing to train any department or student organization at their own meeting time if they want to contact us and set up a time.

Naloxone Distribution

Anyone associated with Baylor (student, faculty, staff, or family member) who completes a naloxone training is eligible to collect a free box of Narcan branded nasal spray naloxone from the BARC. If you have gone through the training and are interested in receiving free naloxone, please either visit the BARC during office hours (M-F 8-5pm) or contact us via our contact sheet and we can quickly arrange a time for pickup.
