Student Life

Although academics are vital, the campus life experience plays a major role in your education. The campus is alive with over 270 clubs and organizations, including 40 national and local sororities and fraternities. Annually, Baylor students, faculty and staff volunteer more than 150,000 hours of community service locally.

Through our Virtual Tour you can have a cyber experience of the Baylor life.

The Department of Student Activities challenges students to become people of influence through student organization membership, exceptional campus programs, leadership development, and a commitment to serving our communities by connecting generations of students to the life of the university.

With an active campus community life and tremendous amount of resources, here are a few events that you won't want to miss.

Big 12 Sports
Baylor University is a vibrant campus with a sports program in the Big 12 Conference. Baylor has won a combined 65 Big 12 Conference championships in the league's 18 year history! So, while you're sitting in the stands at all the home games, be sure to show your support by wearing the green and gold! Sic 'em, Bears!
Dr. Pepper Hour
A long standing tradition since 1953, join your fellow students, faculty and staff each Tuesday at 3pm in the Barfield Drawing Room of the Student Union Building for this special hour to relax, socialize and talk informally while enjoying Dr. Pepper floats. You've never had anything quite like it.
Christmas on 5th Street
Grab your friends and take in the lighting of the campus Christmas tree and Fifth Street buildings, caroling, live nativity scene, special musical guests, pictures with Santa Claus and other "reindeer games."
Diadeloso
Diadeloso or "Day of the Bear" is a day of fun in the sun as spring classes are cancelled so students, faculty and staff can enjoy athletic tournaments, live shows and the Block Party.

With more than 83% of Baylor's students involved in at least one student activity, which one will YOU choose?
