Scholarship:	Gregory Mangum Scholarship
Information:	The Gregory W. Mangum Endowed Scholarship Fund in Film and Digital Media was established by Gregory W. Mangum of Euless, Texas, in honor of Dr. Corey Carbonara. Dr. Corey Carbonara earned a B.A. degree in 1976 and a M.A. degree in 1980 from the University of Iowa and his Ph.D. in 1989 from the University of Texas. Dr. Carbonara serves as a Professor and Master Teach.er of Film and Digital Media. Dr. Carbonara is an industry leader in the field of digital technology and shaped the future of digital television when he served as the first product manager of high-definition systems at Sony. Prior to coming to Baylor, he served in management and executive positions at companies like Columbia Pictures and Motorola. Dr. Carbonara has been appointed to many of the top panels and committees in his field, with organizations like the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). Gregory W. Mangum earned his B.A. degree from Baylor University in 1985. While attending Baylor, Greg studied film and digital media under Dr. Carbonara. Greg serves as Vice President, Community Financial Stability for United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and is a member of the Old Main Society.
Criteria:	For Undergraduate Film and Digital Media majors in the College of Arts & Sciences.
Minimum GPA:	The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.
Need/Merit:	Based on merit.
