Scholarship: Gerald & Kathy Dunlap HC Schp

Information: The Gerald P. and Kathy M. Dunlap Endowed Scholarship Fund in the Honors College was established in 2013 by Gerald P. and Kathy M. Dunlap of Spring, Texas.

Gerald P. Dunlap earned a B.B.A. degree from Baylor University in 1978 and an M.B.A. degree from Our Lady of the Lake University. His career included 34 years of service for ExxonMobil before he retired in 2013, including over ten years supporting ExxonMobil joint ventures in Qatar. Kathy M. Dunlap earned the B.A. degree from Erskine College. Mr. and Mrs. Dunlap are members of the Bear Foundation. They have two children: Jennifer Kathleen (B.A. ’04) and Katie Jane (B.A. ’06).

Criteria:  For Undergraduate University Scholar (preferred) majors in the Honors College.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
