Scholarship: Ann Wells Harder Scholarship

Information: The Ann Wells Harder Endowed Scholarship Fund in Music was established in 2012 by Geraldine Wells Greisler of Waco, Texas in honor of her niece. Ann Harder is a native Wacoan who earned her B.A. in telecommunications from Baylor University in 1975. Her long broadcasting career in both radio and television began at KWTX while she was a Baylor student. She joined KXXV-TV as a primetime news anchor in 1996. Ann is a noted vocalist who has performed for many civic and church groups through Central Texas and has been a guest vocalist with the Baylor Symphony and the Waco Symphony Orchestra. Among her many honors, Ann was given the Junior League of Waco EVA award for excellence in volunteering and was noted the National Medial Person of the Year in 2005. Ann and her husband Mike have three sons, two of them and their wives also graduated from Baylor.
Geraldine Geisler earned a B.A. degree from Baylor in 1954. She is a member of the Baylor Bear Foundation, Old Main Society and the Heritage Club.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the School of Music.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.
