Scholarship: Murray & Greta Watson Schp

Information: The Murray and Greta Warren Watson Endowed Scholarship Fund in Family and Consumer Sciences was established in 2011 by Murray and Greta Watson of Mart, Texas in support of President Starr’s scholarship initiative. Murray Watson, Jr. graduated from Baylor University with a B.B.A. degree in 1952 and from the Baylor Law School in 1954. Greta Watson graduated from Baylor University with a B.S. in home economics in 1959. Both are members of the Bear Foundation, Heritage Club, and are life members of the Baylor Alumni Association. They have two children: Millicent Watson Larson and Marcus Watson.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Gen'l Family/Consumer Science majors in the Human Sciences & Design department.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
