Scholarship: Lee & Kathy Nordt Scholarship

Information: The Lee C. and Kathy J. Nordt Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2011 by Lee C. and Kathy J. Nordt of Woodway, Texas. Dr. Lee Nordt graduate from Texas A & M University with a B.S. degree in 1979, M.S. degree in 1983 and Ph.D. degree in 1996. In 2007, he became Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Nordt received the Alumni By Choice designation from the Baylor Alumni Association in 2007. Kathy Nordt attended Sam Houston State University and is a graduate of the Blinn College Nursing School. The Nordts are members of the Bear Foundation and Baylor/Waco Foundation. They have two children: Garrison and Kaylee.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the College of Arts & Sciences.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
