Scholarship: Cory R Case Scholarship

Information: The Cory R. Case Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2011 by Wade A. Barrow of Fort Worth, Texas and close friends of Cory R. Case. During their time at Baylor, Cory and Wade were roommates. Cory earned a B.S. degree in chemistry from Baylor in 1998. He is remembered by his family as having a “brilliant mind, unfailing wit, and unbelievable courage while facing and beating cancer.” He passed away on February 21, 2008. Wade earned a B.A. degree from Baylor in 198 and a J.D. degree from the University of Texas in 2001. Wade is a proud personal injury lawyer married to Brook; both are members of the Baylor Bear Foundation and Wade is a life member of the Baylor Alumni Association.

Comments: For Undergraduate Chemistry or Biochemistry majors.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Chemistry majors.

Minimum GPA: 3.25

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
