Scholarship: Ted & Sue Getterman HC Schp

Information: Ted and Sue Getterman established the Ted and Sue Getterman Endowed Scholarship Fund in 2010. Ted Getterman graduated from Baylor in 1949 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and completed his Juris Doctorate degree in 1951. Sue Getterman graduated from Baylor in 1950 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She served on the Baylor Board of Regents from 2001 to 2010.

The Gettermans have received the James Huckins, Pat Neff, and President's Medallions and are members of the Judge R.E.B. Baylor Society. They have also received the Athletic Director Hall of Honor Achievement Award. In 2005, Mr. and Mrs. Getterman received the Baylor University Founders' Medal, the university's highest honor. In addition, the Gettermans are members of the Endowed Scholarship Society, Old Main Society, Baylor Bear Foundation, Heritage Club, and Baylor/Waco Foundation.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the Honors College.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
