Scholarship: Stan/Lisa Denman Scholarship

Information: The Stan and Lisa Denman Endowed Scholarship in Theatre Arts was established in 2010 by Stan and Lisa Denman of Robinson, Texas. Stan Denman earned a B.A. degree from Abilene Christian University in 1986, an M.A. degree in theatre arts from Baylor University in 1989, and a Ph.D. degree in theatre arts from the University of Pittsburgh in 1998. Lisa Denman earned a B.A. degree in theatre from Abilene Christian University in 1989 and an M.F.A. degree in directing from Baylor University in 1999. Both were faculty members at Baylor: Stan taught courses in theatre history, theory, acting, playwriting and directing; Lisa taught courses in directing, acting, and children's theatre.

Comments: For Sophomore-Senior students in the Theater Arts department.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate students in the Theater Arts department.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and/or merit.
