Scholarship: Kate Alison Bronstein Schp

Information: The Kate Alison Bronstein Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2007 by David and Patricia Bronstein of Houston, Texas in loving memory of their daughter, Kate Alison Bronstein.

Kate Bronstein was a 19-year-old sophomore at Baylor University when she died on November 14, 2007. She was double majoring in art history and international studies and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority, where she served as the special events coordinator. Kate had a loving heart and cared deeply for her friends and family. She was a strong-willed and focused individual who knew what she wanted in life and pursued it with passion. Fellow students described Kate as ambitious, dedicated, joyful, and a friend who was always there for others. Her parents, sister and all who knew her will dearly missed Kate.

Comments: For Senior, Junior, and Sophomore students participating in a Baylor study abroad program; First preference: Art History majors; second preference: Studio Art majors.

Criteria:  For Art History majors in the Art and Art History department who are a sophomore, junior, or senior.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and/or merit.
