Scholarship: Ralph & Ruth McCullough Schp

Information: The Ralph H. and Ruth J. McCullough Scholarship was established in memory of Ralph H. and Ruth J. McCullough. Ralph H. McCullough, a distinguished businessman and community leader, attended the University of Texas. An active and influential citizen, Mr. McCullough held numerous leadership positions with civic, church and charitable organizations in Houston. He served on the Texas Fine Arts Commission during the term of Governor John B. Connally. Ruth Johnson McCullough, also an ex-student of the University of Texas, shared an appreciation of the arts and was a knowledgeable and astute collector. As a testament of their generosity of spirit, Mr. and Mrs. McCullough have made it possible for young people to realize the dream of a college education.

Comments: For Sophomore-Senior students in the Theater Arts department.

Criteria:  For Undergraduate Theatre Arts majors.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
