Scholarship: Lou/Mabel Hatter Scholarship

Information: The Lou and Mabel Glass Hatter Scholarship Fund was established by Dr. and Mrs. William Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Stuart G. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Scott H. Smith and Mr. Steven S. Smith, all of Waco, Texas, in memory of Lou and Mabel Glass Hatter. Preference is given to junior or senior students majoring in English.

Comments: Recipients must have earned a high grade point average and be of good moral character.

Criteria:  For English majors who are a junior or senior.

Minimum GPA: The University requires a minimum GPA of 2.50; however, individual departments may have more stringent academic requirements.

Need/Merit: Based on need and merit.
