Using BaylorConnect

BaylorConnect makes meeting your graduation requirement for the Creative Arts Experience simple and easy! Just follow these 7 easy steps to make sure you're ready to attend your first events. You should only have to download your Event Pass one time!

Step 1: Head over to

Log in using your BearID and Password.

Step 2: Click your profile icon at the top right of the screen and select "Event Pass."

Here you can also update your profile picture and turn on text notifications about upcoming events if you'd like. Just click your name and update your settings within "my account."

Step 3: Download, screenshot, or save your Event Pass.

This QR code is your unique pass linked to your student ID and will be scanned at the end of each CAE event for credit. Save this QR code to your phone! It will not change throughout your time at Baylor.

Step 4: Return to the BaylorConnect home screen and click the Creative Arts Experience membership group.

Select "View More Events" and begin to search for events that you're interested in.

Step 5: Viewing an event's details

When clicking on a specific event, pay attention to the following information:

  • The event time and location
  • The event description: This will provide important information such as whether the event requires tickets, and when, where, and how to purchase them.
  • The event category: All CAE events will be labeled with "CAE ALL" and an additional tag for which category the event will fulfill.

Remember, to meet the 12 event academic core requirement, you must see at least 2 events from all of the following categories: film, theatre, art, music, and literature/world cultures. You can only obtain credit from an approved CAE event.

Step 6: Attend your event

After the event has concluded, identify the CAE booth nearby. Present your Event Pass to the event sponsor at the booth and scan out for credit.

Step 7: Check your Degree Audit

After a week has passed, your degree audit will show that you have satisfied a requirement for the CAE.

That's it! Go grab your friends and plan your next expedition into the fine arts!
