The Martin Museum of Art Presents EMERGENCE: Art and the Incarnation of Space. The show highlights the influence of Josef Albers and features both his work along with six artists who have been influenced by Albers - with five of them doing an Artist Residency at the Albers Foundation.

Included in this group is Baylor Art Professor Benny Fountain whose residency at the Albers Foundation provided the seed for the idea that germinated into the exhibition. The exhibition is guest curated by Dr. Rev Richard Davies from Nottingham Trent University in the UK.

Dr. Davies will be joined by all artists in the exhibition for a panel discussion on Tuesday, September 10th at 5pm.

The Martin Museum of Art is opened
Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-5pm
Sunday from 1pm-5pm
(Please note: the Martin is closed on home
