Bylaws and rules governing the operation of the Army Baylor (Alumni) Network (ABN) are promulgated for the information and guidance of all concerned.
a. An election of the Secretary/3rd Vice President from among the active membership shall be held during the Spring of each year. Only active members from the Club shall be entitled to hold office and to participate in the election of officers. A request for nominations will be announced in the Winter newsletter. If a retired/civilian is not currently serving as Immediate Past President, President, President Elect/1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, or Secretary/3rd Vice President, only nominations for retired/civilian alumni will be sought and accepted. Election results will be published in the Spring or Summer newsletter.
b. The terms of elected officers shall extend from 30 March to 1 April of the following year.
c. Unless otherwise vacated, the individuals holding the positions of President Elect/1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, and Secretary/3rd Vice President, will automatically advance to the next higher position upon completion of one year in office. The President will accede to the position of Past President.
d. The Treasurer will be nominated by the Director, Army-Baylor University Graduate Program in Health and Business Administration and approved by the Executive Committee. The incumbent will be assigned to the Health Care Administration Division, Academy of Health Sciences, and will serve until replaced by the Director.
a. Executive Committee: The Executive Committee shall provide leadership and direction to the ABN. Voting and non-voting Club officers collectively constitute the membership of the Executive Committee.

c. Ad Hoc Committee: Ad Hoc Committees may be formed at the call of the President, who will also select committee membership.
d. Recipients of awards to be presented to students and residents of the Army-Baylor Program shall be determined in accordance with program policies and not by the membership of the Awards Committee. ABN involvement will be limited to funding and procurement of individual and room plaques for the following awards:
a. Annual ABN dues shall be $25.00 for active members and honorary and associate members who choose to pay annual dues.
b. Lifetime membership may be established through a one time payment of $250.00.
c. All dues collected will be deposited with the Baylor Alumni Network.
d. The Baylor Alumni Network will disseminate ABN funds at the request of the Treasurer and the direction of the voting members of the Executive Committee.
The ABN fiscal year will coincide with the Army-Baylor Program academic year.
a. Adoption of the ABN Constitution and bylaws will be accomplished by a majority vote of the quorum present at one of the annual meetings.
b. Proposed amendments to the constitution shall be submitted to the President Elect/1st Vice President who will in turn submit these to the other members of the Executive Committee for review and approval. Approved proposed amendments shall be published in the Fall newsletter along with ballots to be completed by members and submitted to the Secretary/3rd Vice President. Proposed amendments receiving an affirmative vote of the majority of members who submit ballots shall be adopted.
a. The ABN newsletter shall be prepared by the Secretary/3rd Vice President, approved by the President, and sent to the Baylor Alumni Network for publication and distribution to the membership.
b. The ABN newsletter will be submitted for publication during the Spring, Summer, and Fall of each year.
