Our Time

Our Time, an ESPN+ docuseries, features Baylor’s men’s and women’s basketball programs in this, its third season. The 12-episode show takes fans behind the scenes with coaches and players of both teams in women’s head coach Nicki Collen’s first season and in the season following the men’s program’s first national title.

“We’re really excited that this gives basketball fans around the world a chance to get to know our players and our program on a deeper level,” men’s head coach Scott Drew said.

The first episode, which aired Jan. 6, featured the men’s program’s national championship ring ceremony, a trip to the barbershop with Matthew Mayer for mullet maintenance, and a look at NaLyssa Smith’s painting skills.

Our Time is an opportunity to provide a glimpse into everyday life here at Baylor and for people to get to know more about our players and program,” Collen said.

Other episodes highlight a review of Collen’s first few months at Baylor as she adjusted to the program, a tour of Drew’s office, trips with various players to places like Topgolf and the Magnolia Silos, and an in-depth look at road games for both teams.

Brian Lockhart, senior vice president for ESPN Original Content and ESPN Films, said the current environment of both programs provided the opportunity for Our Time to take its third season to a new level.

“It’s a rare privilege to cover both the defending national champion men’s program — one of the true rising powers of the sport — and the historically successful women’s program as it transitions under the new leadership of Nicki Collen,” Lockhart said. “Giving fans a look into both teams and the community surrounding them in Waco will be truly special.”
