Extending its reach in the digital sphere, Baylor University has partnered with The College Tour, a TV series developed by Emmy-nominated and multi-award-winning producers, to bring the University to TVs, phones and digital devices across the globe.
“We recognize that the landscape of student recruitment is ever changing, and it’s important to position the University at the forefront of school choices,” Vice President for Marketing and Communications and Chief Marketing Officer Jason Cook, A.B.C. ’20, said. “Our episode of The College Tour allows us to put Baylor on the radar of so many more prospective families and spotlight all that Baylor and Waco have to offer.”
Shot over five days on campus and co-produced and hosted by Alex Boylan, winner of the second season of CBS’s The Amazing Race, Baylor’s episode of The College Tour tells the story of the Baylor experience through the lens of its students, an alumnus, a faculty member and President Linda A. Livingstone, Ph.D.
“I think what stands out at Baylor, besides the fact that you get this amazing Christian education on a beautiful campus in a fantastic location, is your traditions. I don’t know if there’s a better story out there of the traditions at Baylor, and how every single new class that comes in gets to be part of those traditions, and how special that is,” Boylan said.
All episodes of The College Tour are available on multiple digital platforms and at baylor.edu/tour, The College Tour app, streaming on Apple and Roku, and streaming on premium channels through PlayStation, X-Box and Google TV. Baylor’s episode of The College Tour will debut in season two of the series on Amazon Prime in early November.
