Kambly Ashton Belz, BSEd ’12, of Pflugerville, TX, died Jan. 25.

Amy Catherine Lott, BSFCS ’14, of Houston passed away January 14, 2019 after a hard fought battle with cancer. She was 26. Amy was born in Victoria to Dr. Roy John Lott and Cathy Ann Cartwright Lefurgey. Amy received her bachelors degree in Family and Consumer Science from Baylor University and her Master Degree in Hospitality and Retail Science from Texas Tech. Amy worked for Glazer’s Wholesale Distribution in sales. Amy is survived by her father, Dr. Roy Lott and spouse, Aida Lott of Victoria; mother, Cathy Ann Lefurgey and spouse, William Lefurgey of Victoria; sisters, Amanda Lott Rogers and spouse, Maurtiz Stephen Rogers of Victoria, Allison Ann Lott and partner, Meagan Massey of Victoria; boyfriend, Amir Gasca Eskafyan of Houston; step-brother, Matthew Lowe and spouse, Erin Lowe of Houston; step-sister, Lauren Kaplan of Louisville, Kentucky; aunts, Cheryl Parkinson of San Antonio, Faye Norton of Florida; niece, Addison Elizabeth Rogers; nephew, Maurtiz Owen Rogers; step-niece, Isabela Nibur and step-grandmother, Aileen Lott. A Celebration of Amy’s life will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 1 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church with Fr. Jim Kee-Rees officiating. Stevan de la Garza, BSN ’15, of Pharr, TX, left to be with the Lord on June 20, 2018 in Arlington, TX. He was 25.  He was born to Richard de la Garza and Guadalupe Garcia on March 31, 1993 in McAllen. Left to cherish his memory are his parents: Richard de la Garza, Guadalupe Garcia and step-father, Joe Estrada. He will also be greatly missed by his brothers: Jerald de la Garza, Jacob Alvarado, Darek Alvarado; paternal grandmother, Esmeralda de la Garza; maternal grandmother, Florinda Garcia; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and step-brothers. Family will receive friends Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am, Monday, June 25, 2018 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home of Pharr.

Amanda Ruth Russell, ’16, of Kokomo, IN, passed away at 9:03 AM Monday November 5, 2018 at Community Hospital North, Indianapolis. She was 27. Amanda was born October 19, 1991 at Andrews AFB, Maryland to Col Scott S. Russell and Theresa Ann (Goodwin) Russell. She was a 2010 graduate of Grace Preparatory Academy in Arlington, TX. She was a homemaker and a graphic artist who had attended Baylor University-Waco, TX and Indiana University-Kokomo. She is survived by her parents of Kokomo; one sister Cathryn (Bennet) Hickok of Fort Worth, TX; paternal grandparents Robert and Nancy Russell of Mesa, AZ; her companion Don Wheeler of Kokomo; maternal grandparents David Goodwin of Florida and Ruth Goodwin of Kokomo; also several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday November 12, 2018 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Chaplain (Lt Col) Alex Jack will officiate. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday at the mortuary.

Collin Hale Ferguson, BSME ’17, of Fort Worth, died Dec. 12, 2018. He was born on April 23, 1994 to Beth and Mike Ferguson. Collin attended Lily B. Clayton Elementary, William James Middle, and R. L. Paschal High School, Class of 2012. At Paschal, Collin was a 4-year member of the Paschal Baseball team, member of the National Honor Society, and graduated with Honors. He then attended Baylor University graduating in 2016 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Collin's passion from age 3 on was baseball. He played year round in Little League, Select Club, 4 years at Paschal, and recreational Club Baseball at Baylor. Collin also loved Scouting. He was a member of Boy Scout of America Troop 50. He hiked Philmont twice and achieved the prestigious Anchorman, Order of the Arrow, and rank of Eagle Scout. Collin's last 3 years have been a valiant, courageous, and inspirational battle with aggressive autoimmune diseases. Collin is survived by his mother Beth Ferguson, brother Brett Ferguson, and sister Sara Ferguson Kelly all of Fort Worth; Grandmother Treva Ferguson of Lewisville; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews. Collin is preceded in death by his father James Michael Ferguson. Collin is also survived by the most amazing friends a guy could ever have. Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful Thrifty, Brave, Clean, Reverent.
