Drayton McLane Jr., BBA ’58 and Regent Emeritus, of Temple, TX, was named chairman of the board for Texas Central, a group developing what may become the United States’ first high-speed train. The passenger line, the Texas Bullet Train, would connect the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area to the Houston area.
Rev. Allen C. Liles, BA ’59, lost his wife Jan to an unexpected heart attack in February. In his new book, The Forever Penny: How Our Loved Ones Stay Connected After Death, Liles recounts the wisdom, comfort and guidance he received after his wife’s passing.
