The 103rd edition of the Baylor University Golden Wave Marching Band began assembling two weeks prior to the fall semester, in the midst of the hottest Texas summer on record. At 285 members strong, the university's largest student organization is easily one of the most committed on campus. The week before classes begin, the band puts in 11-hour days each day. When classes start, rehearsals are from 4-6 p.m. three times per week, in addition to eight-hour days for each home football game and travel to some away games. BUGWB's dedication to supporting the Bears and Baylor University is one of Baylor's most impressive traditions.
