Nona Hunt Hicks, BA '46, of Tyler, Texas, died March 1. She was 84. She began at Baylor University at the age of 16, where she met her husband-to-be in freshman English class, Weldon Hicks, BBA '48, to whom she was married for 64 years. She taught in public schools, VBS and Sunday school. She received her master's degree in education from East Texas State University at Commerce, and was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and the Women's Bible Class. Memorials may be made to the Nona Hicks Academic Scholarship Fund at Baylor University.
