Gaynor new interim VP for University relations

Kimberly (Kim) Gaynor was appointed interim vice president for University relations Nov. 18. He will oversee public relations, the Baylor Network, Youth Programs, University host, the Department of Public Safety and continuing education.
Gaynor holds a BBA in marketing and finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He joins Baylor after a distinguished career in advertising, most recently with Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon & Eckhardt, the largest advertising agency in the United States and the fifth-largest in the world. With them, he served as president of Chrysler Team USA and executive vice president of Daimler Chrysler USA and Mexico. Previously, as vice president of Foote, Cone & Belding Advertising of Los Angeles, he guided the firm's largest account, Mazda Motors of America, to become one of the fastest-selling brands in the country. He also has held executive positions with McCann Erickson Advertising in Houston and GSD&M Advertising in Austin.
Gaynor's wife, Brenda, is a Baylor alumna and their son, Brandon, is a sophomore at the University. The Gaynors also have a daughter, Morgan, who is in fourth grade. The family lives in Amarillo.
