Weary Baylor students will have a chance to catch their breath before the final month of classes when breathe returns to campus March 29-31. Sponsored by Baptist Student Ministries and the Student Life Division, the worship event will be at 8 p.m. nightly in Waco Hall.
Clif Mouser, BSM director, says Breathe is a time for the campus community to reflect and rejuvenate. "The campus is given the opportunity to encounter God afresh. It is an invitation for students here to come together, refresh, pause. The Good News is proclaimed and experienced," he said.
Featured guests are Matt Chandler, well-known on college campuses for his biblical messages to students, and worship leader Billy Foote, both of whom also will lead Chapel during that week.
Formerly known as Spring Revival, the program was renamed to accommodate a changing student perception of the word revival, Mouser said. Last year, the longstanding Baylor tradition attracted more than 2,000 students.
