Morriss' Stats

February 12, 2003
An All-Southwest Conference guard at TCU, Morriss spent 18 years in the National Football League as an offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots and later as a coach with the Patriots and the Arizona Cardinals. After several years of coaching in the Texas high school, college and pro ranks, Morriss went to the University of Kentucky, where he spent six years -- four as an assistant and the last two as head coach -- turning around the Wildcat football program. Under Morriss, the team improved from 2-9 in 2001 to 7-5 last year, becoming only the fifth Wildcat football team since 1955 to win seven games in a season.
