A significant number of Baylor graduates have taken the musical training they received here and headed to Nashville to use their gifts to praise God. A number of them have found commercial success and industry acclaim. Two recent examples are Shaun Groves, '97, and David Phelps, '92, who claimed a total of seven Dove Award nominations this year. While no known exhaustive list exists, below are several Baylor grads who are impacting the Nashville Christian music scene:
