Associate dean initiates conversation across 'the pond' on higher education

Alum No. 1 pick by British magazine Management Today

Peggy Wehmeyer, the first national religion correspondent for a major television news network, will be presented with the 2002 Baylor Communications Award during the annual President's Media Luncheon Aug. 27.

Acclaimed historian Shelby Foote, author of the three-volume The Civil War: A Narrative, and Ernest Gaines, author of the best-selling book A Lesson Before Dying, will present lectures at Baylor in October.á
