Indigenous Alumni Alliance
About Us
Our Mission
The Baylor Indigenous Alumni Alliance is focused on connecting generations of self-identifying Indigenous Baylor alumni with the purpose of creating an intertribal community. This community will provide cultural and professional networking support to current Indigenous students, create opportunities for future generations of Indigenous students at Baylor, and serve as a host of Indigenous visibility, and advocacy in the broader Baylor community.
We hope to develop and maintain an annual plan of programs, activities, and events. This group is dedicated to making an impact in the lives of Indigenous scholars while working with Baylor University leadership to promote cultural conciliation. We will focus on membership, scholarship, cultural education, and cultural support.
