About our Featured Speaker

Dr. Mona ChoucairMona Choucair, Ph.D.

Dr. Mona Choucair's teaching interests are in American literature with an emphasis on contemporary women writers. She enjoys a dual teaching appointment in the School of Education, where she supervises secondary teaching interns, and the College of Arts & Sciences in the English Department.

Currently, Dr. Choucair is working on a guidebook for educators on teaching Toni Morrison's novels at the secondary school level.
