Generous contributions to the Official Baylor Ring Scholarship helped the Baylor Alumni Board of Advocates select the first Official Baylor Ring Scholarship Recipient in March 2021.

Anais Tello, a student in Baylor’s Diana R. Garland School of Social Work, learned she was the recipient days before her birthday.

“I am so grateful for this Official Ring Scholarship, and I am so excited to receive the best graduation gift," Anais said. “To top it off, my birthday is March 4, and so this news adds to this great week for me!”

Each purchase of the Official Baylor Ring supports the Official Baylor Ring scholarship fund, established to ensure students in need are able to participate in the Official Baylor Ring tradition.

The continued growth of the fund will make it possible to award the scholarship to multiple students each year; students like Anais who demonstrate academic excellence and who are devoted Baylor Bears.
