Do I need to assemble my own team?
You do not need a team or any prior experience playing trivia. Our professional event host will assign individual guests/households to randomly generated teams.
How can I access the game?
Once registered for Alumni Week, you will be sent a Zoom Meeting Link. You can join using a computer, tablet or smartphone device.
What are the tech specifications needed for Trivia?
Joining from a laptop or desktop computer will provide the best experience. TriviaHub's browser-based quiz system works with most internet browsers, however, Chrome is preferred. Please use an updated version. Please do not use Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge. Please refrain from using any VPN, proxy, or citrix. These can interfere with zoom capabilities, as well as access to our quiz system. We always recommend joining from a personal computer or device.
What time will the event begin?
The Zoom room will open 15 minutes early – so feel free to join then to ensure your device is configured and working. The event will kick-off about 5 minutes after the start time to allow any players to join who may be running a bit late.
How does the team collaborate and answer trivia questions?
During the round, our hosts will split you into breakout rooms with your team. You can use the time during the breakout room to determine the answer. Your team captain will submit your answer using the answering webpage they send you. Example of the scoring website can be found here.
