Holiday Baking Virtual Lunch & Learn

During this event, our guests learned how to decorate a gorgeous cake and heard from a Baylor graduate about her journey to open a small business. Courtney Nguyen (BS ’18), baker and the owner of Flour Petal Bakery in Cypress, Texas, joined Baylor University Women’s Council of Houston for a virtual Lunch & Learn.

Courtney Nguyen (BS '18)
Courtney specializes in cakes, macarons and custom creations—letter or number shaped boxes stuffed with tasty treats such as cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries.
"I am a self-taught home baker who has a huge passion for baking,” Courtney said. “My dreams are to one day transform The Flour Petal Bakery into a cafe and bakery that will offer a place for people to gather and connect over delicious gourmet desserts."
