Building Bridges to the Future (BBF) is an initiative designed by Baylor University's Center for Christian Music Studies made possible by grant funding from Lilly Endowment, Inc.

Youth Choir Camp at Alleluia

We are excited to introduce a new track at Alleluia 2021 geared towards high-school students. This one-of-a-kind camp experience will bring together students from around the country to participate in a week of discussions, panels, breakout classes, choral rehearsals, and more.

Alleluia Youth is an opportunity for students with both an interest in choral singing traditions and worship leadership. Alongside of our partnering Alleluia Youth Cohort members (mentioned below), students will participate in daily choir rehearsals, take classes on vocal health, worship planning and leadership, and combine with students participating in Baylor's Worship Lab for a number of activities.

REGISTRATION WILL OPEN IN FEBRUARY 2021.

Alleluia Youth Cohort

For a deeper engagement opportunity with our program, we invite your congregation to join us through a new project created to explore youth participation and engagement in the local church. Starting in 2021, both students and leaders will convene on Baylor's campus during the annual Alleluia Conference for a week of discussions, panels, breakout classes, rehearsals, and more. In addition to being a great place for students to learn, Alleluia is a prime atmosphere for program and ministry leaders to build connections and discover new music and worship practices. While students participate in rehearsals, ministry leaders will convene for panel discussions, best practices sessions, and plenary sessions with notable youth authors, researchers, and speakers.
