Baylor University greatly values the alumni, parents and friends who support and sustain us. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve both the University and our Baylor Family as we work together to advance the mission of this institution.

The Office of Advancement’s purpose is to provide opportunities for our Baylor Family to support and engage with Baylor, both through giving to the University and in connecting with their alma mater through our Baylor Alumni program.

Together, we can create opportunities for our students, connect to fellow alumni and parents and find opportunities to engage with corporate partners and foundations to help advance our society. Baylor University Announces $1.5 Million Gift Honoring Business Dean
WACO, Texas (Nov. 19, 2020) – Baylor University today announced a $1.5 million gift commitment to help establish a new endowed faculty position within the Hankamer School of Business, honoring Dean Terry S. Maness, D.B.A., on his upcoming retirement and years of service.

Baylor University Announces $2 Million Gift from The DeBakey Medical Foundation
WACO, Texas (Oct. 29, 2020) – Baylor University today announced a $2 million gift commitment from The DeBakey Medical Foundation of Houston that will create The Michael E. DeBakey, M.D., Selma DeBakey and Lois DeBakey Chair for Medical Humanities. In celebration of the announcement, Lauren Barron, M.D., has been announced as the inaugural chairholder.
