Year I joined Baylor Admissions: 2019

Hometown: Folsom, CA

Favorite thing about Baylor: Where do I start? The campus is so beautiful; it’s inspiring just to walk around, but it’s the people that fill the campus that really make Baylor unique. Excellence, faith and community are woven into the DNA of Baylor, and you need to come visit campus to feel it for yourself!

Favorite place in Waco: The suspension bridge at sunset. If you grab a slice of pizza from Slow Rise and then head over to sit on the suspension bridge right at the end of golden hour you will get an amazing view!

What inspires me: So many things… being in nature, watching well-made cinematography, and all the stories of success and resiliency of my family and friends deeply inspire me.

Favorite hobbies: I love being active, whether that’s hiking or weightlifting. I also really enjoy calligraphy and photography.

Fun facts about me: I love country line dancing and 80s music; in college I traveled to 9 countries in one year (Israel, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, Mexico, and Trinidad).

My advice to you: Cherish the season you’re in. College will come soon. That will be an amazing chapter in life, but really try to be present in each moment you’re in. Also, grit and resilience are rare and powerful traits to have that are worth cultivating.
