Academic Scholarships

Baylor offers significant scholarships for students who excel academically. No additional application is required for an academic scholarship. All applicants are automatically considered for academic scholarships when they apply, including students who apply as test optional.

Freshman Academic Scholarships

Admitted students are automatically considered for one of these academic scholarships based on a complete review of their high school academic performance. Test scores will not be taken into account for the scholarship review process for students applying for the 2021-2022 academic year due to the nationwide testing challenges of this academic year.

These scholarships* range from $48,000 to $92,000 divided over 8 undergraduate semesters OR $12,000 to $23,000 per academic year. 86% of applicants receive an academic scholarship, and the median range of scholarships awarded is $64,000 divided over 8 undergraduate semesters OR $16,000 per academic year.

Applicants who submit a complete admission file after February 1 are considered for academic scholarships based on available funding. Renewal is contingent upon maintaining a Baylor cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Baylor also offers a number of scholarship programs for high-achieving students. Scholarships range from $1,000 to full cost of attendance. Learn more and apply if eligible.

Transfer Academic Scholarships
