Julie Covington serves as the Assistant Director for the Center for Ministry Effectiveness. Under the leadership of the Director of the Center, she organizes and plans events for pastors, lay leaders, and students on topics of interest. Julie received her BSHE and MSEd from Baylor University and is currently working toward her MTS degree at Truett. She began working for the Center for Ministry Effectiveness in 2005.
Julie attends First Baptist Church, Waco and serves as an advisor for the Truett Women in Ministry student group. She is a member of the Baylor Round Table and the Baylor Women’s Network of Waco. Julie enjoys reading and travel, and she—along with her mother Sandra and sister Jill and family—enjoy cheering on the Baylor Bears.
