Mentors of the Faith and Sport Institute (FSI) are young people passionate about holistic growth and spiritual maturing of adolescents. Mentors spend 10 days in June being trained and participating in the FSI Retreat and then commit 4-5 hours a month for the next 11 months to a continued mentoring relationship with no more than 4 local high school student athletes.
The FSI prides itself in creating a unique retreat experience that helps young athletes live out their faith on the filed of competition and the other arenas of life. Mentors should have an understanding of the larger sports culture and express a Christian faith.
