Carolyn Cole has been a Baylor faculty member since June 2016. However, Baylor has been a part of Cole's life since she started her undergraduate career as a Bear with a B.A. in Sociology. Her strong desire and ability to work led her down the path towards her master's degree in social work at the Garland School of Social Work. Her passion for social justice, cultural diversity, advocacy, and strong belief that education creates change makes her the perfect fit in social work.

She has three children, Cole, Allie and Jason Bucy. Her son Cole and his wife are Baylor graduates. She is excited to be a first time grandmother to Renick Davis Bucy. Cole's family also has three generations of Baylor graduates.
